Invited Speaker - Madeleine Thomson

Our fourth invited speaker is Madeleine Thomson. She is the Senior Science Lead for Climate Change and Health in the "Our Planet, Our Health" group at the Wellcome Trust. Before this she was a senior researcher at the International Research Institute for Climate and Society and the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University in New York. She has worked extensively on the effects of climate on disease prevalence, looking at global-scale processes such as El Niño events and climate change.
